Autorenporträt
Marijke Buurlage (1989) lives with her boyfriend and two daughters in the northern part of Friesland (The Netherlands). She studied Illustration at the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen from 2009 to 2013 and has been working as a full-time illustrator since then. Marijke thinks it’s the most fun profession in the world. She mainly illustrates product packaging, children’s games, and books. Her work is playful and cheerful, and she loves bold colors!
