Cynthia Carla has always loved giving and receiving great bear hugs. There's something quite special about a great bear hug for two! Give it a try, won't you? Cynthia is the author of another children's rhyming book, The Who That I Am (2021), which has won numerous awards including the 2022 NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite and the 2022 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards Bronze prize. The book was shortlisted for the 2023 Eric Hoffer Award Grand Prize and was a First Horizons Award Finalist. Cynthia loves connecting with nature, meditating, and dancing. She loves to go on long walks with her family and can often be found at the beach. She lives alongside the ocean and her wildlife friends, with her fun and loving husband and fur-babies.
