However, there is some confusion about how to best position patients for the prevention of pressure ulcers.The aim of this research is to advance an understanding of the impact of the 30 degree tilt positioning in healthcare settings in relation to pressure ulcers prevention. Four databases were systematically searched and primary studies were assessed against inclusion.The four studies met inclusion criteria. They were all randomised controlled trails.
