Marcus Smith's literary journey commenced in the vibrant summer of 1991. Embarking as an indie Author, his innate storytelling prowess quickly caught the eyes of the cinematic world. Drawn to the allure of the silver screen, Marcus transitioned into screenplay writing and soon caught the attention of renowned film producer, Mr. Robert Watts, whose accolades for Marcus's writing echoed the sentiments of many. Diverse in his creativity, Marcus penned five distinctive screenplays, each resonating with unique narratives and genres. His talent shone bright in 2020 when he marked his place as a semi-finalist in the Wiki Ten Page Screenplay Competition and further secured a position as a quarter-finalist in the 2020 Atlanta Screenplay Competition. However, the written word's timeless charm beckoned him back. Marcus's return to the literary world culminated in - "A Hidden Village of African Giants" - his debut book project that seamlessly blends his love for storytelling with his cinematic vision.
