Dr. Festo W. Gabriel is a Senior Lecturer of History and Archaeology in the Department of Humanities at Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) - Iringa. He holds PhD (Archaeology) from the University of Pretoria - South Africa, MA (Archaeology), and BA (Hons) (History and Archaeology) both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr. Gabriel has a number of publications in local and international peer reviewed journals, mostly in the areas of history and cultural heritage.
