Michael Tavon's umpteeth poetry book but this one is different. This one will be his last for a very long time. A Home For Lonely Souls Vol. 2 Review This updated version of A Home For Lonely Souls is nothing less than a beautiful collection of heartfelt poetry. I found that personally a lot of the poems resonated with my soul. I also found that as an aspiring writer, that this collection inspired my own need and desire to write and eventually publish. My favorite section was the third section where the poems were inspired by request from the poet's followers. There was a variety of subjects that somehow were still able to be tied and linked together. The first section was a collection of poems that were linked together by the themes of sadness and loneliness. The poem Solace talks about grieving and healing from brokenness something I have felt myself. A Request to Love Me More is a poem that truly touched my heart as I have struggled with self love for a lifetime. It talks about gaining the strength to get up and try in life to live and succeed. "Obit. My twenties, died February 26, 2021 was a poem I could relate to oh too well as it speaks of aging and feeling how getting older affects you greatly. Aging is a hard tasks and mentally we are not all prepared to go through it. Tears and Elephants is a poem of hope that something good comes a long in life. Especially after dealing with battles of sadness, loneliness and depression. This collection of poetry is a true gem. As this book makes me feel inspired and seen. " - Santisha McRae
