Kristine Fuhriman has loved animals since her childhood on a heavily forested, 40-acre farm in Honeoye, New York. She attended BYU, became an ICU registered nurse, married Rod and has 6 children: Courtney, Trevor, Heidi, Nicole (who passed away in 2000), Jeffrey and Caitlin, and 1 grandchild, Finn. She loves to catch frogs, play cello, bike and swim in mountain lakes.
