Autorenporträt
Jolanta Misiewicz studied at Wroc¿aw Technical University, Poland, where she received a Ph.D. in 1981 and a Habilitation in 1997. In 2007, she received the scientific title of Professor from the President of Poland. Her scientific specialty is Analytical Methods in Probability and Stochastic Processes. She is the author of more than 50 publications and co-author of two monographs. She has held positions at the Institutes of Mathematics of Wroc¿aw Technical University, University of Zielona Góra, and Warsaw Technical University, where she is now Professor Emeritus. She has supervised four doctoral dissertations and over 40 master’s theses. Misiewicz has also facilitated international academic cooperation, notably with Delft University of Technology.
