Political unrest and occupation, oppression, famine, and war--these are just a few of the events we're reckoning with in these times. In this unflinching book of practical magic, bestselling author Cerridwen Greenleaf and newcomer Rosemary Michaels demonstrate how the essence of witchcraft is to make things better both personally and collectively, and show us how to use magic to create liberation. Join a centuries-long tradition of witches and covens joining together and do your part to help fight authoritarianism, reject racism and inequality, feed the hungry, build climate resilience, and educate and activate for positive change. Within these pages are spells, charms, rituals, and scrappy, DIY tools to use on your own and with your community to right the wrongs in your own backyard and across the planet. Speak up, find your people, and fight: in your back yard, in city hall, and anywhere you go.
