Autorenporträt
Christine Thomas Doran is an award-winning author of eleven children's books including the environmentally-themed Flash and Fancy otter stories and a series stressing the importance of healthy living. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State and completed post-graduate studies at Old Dominion and the University of Virginia. A retired language-arts teacher of almost thirty years, she is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. In June 2020, one of her otter books was read on the South Carolina Educational Television/PBS Channel's Virtual Storytime Program. Christine grew up in Charleston and resides with her family in Georgetown, SC.
