Autorenporträt
Beverly Dahlen, San Francisco, has published over a dozen books of poetry, known for their psychological depth and linguistic dexterity. The most well known work, A Reading, now has some six volumes and will be published as a single long book by Chax Press in 2026. Dahlen grew up in the Pacific Northwest, but as a young adult moved to the California Bay Area, where she became, by the 1970s, one of the women involved in writing a new sort of innovative poetry, through her own work and her work on the influential journal (HOW)ever.
