This research was developed in the context of a Teacher Training program entitled "Science and Citizen Awareness Project (PCCC)," suggested and developed by its author. The proposals were applied to a group of science educators from the Cruz Alta/RS/Brazil Municipal Education Network, accompanied by their respective pedagogical supervisors and school administrators, developed in 2011 and 2012 in monthly meetings, totaling 80 hours of classroom instruction.
