Autorenporträt
The Rev. Dr. Nancy Jill Hale is an ordained United Methodist pastor and has served churches in upstate New York and Pennsylvania since 1998. She is an avid student of the Civil War and especially Gettysburg, where three of her ancestors fought in Pennsylvania regiments. She is the author of the Civil War novel, Faith and Duty, and articles about Union chaplains in Gettysburg Magazine. In August 2025, she became a Licensed Battlefield Guide at Gettysburg, and she continues to serve the United Methodist Church in nearby Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
