Eliza M. Rose was born in Dekalb, Illinois. At the age of 3, her parents moved her and her three brothers to Virginia Beach, Virginia. While growing up in Virginia Beach, Eliza held a special place in her heart for Illinois, especially the surrounding Chicago area. Currently, Eliza lives in Virginia Beach with husband, Brian, their children, and their family pets. She is on her 18th year as a public-school teacher. She has a Master's in Education and is working on a Ph.D. in Education. A Tale of Prima Facie is her debut novel and she plans to work on a second novel.
