The influence of the use of the Controlled Constriction Technique with the A-TIG process on the welding of ferritic stainless steel was analyzed in this work, identifying and quantifying the main phenomena involved, such as increased penetration, changes in the arc and possible changes in the mechanical and metallurgical properties of ferritic steel

She has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará and a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia. She is a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering course at the Federal University of Sergipe. She conducts research into welding processes and metallurgy.
