The Republic of Belarus traditionally implements a multi-vector foreign economic policy and maintains foreign trade contacts with most foreign countries. This is evidenced by the figures. For example, in 2024, Belarusian products were exported to the markets of more than 160 countries, and the value of Belarusian exports of goods and services last year amounted to nearly $50 billion. In order to further develop bilateral interaction and create conditions for Belarusian participants in foreign economic activities with foreign companies, our country has established and continues to establish intergovernmental commissions for trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation, which contribute to the expansion of bilateral partnership in promising areas of cooperation to increase the volume of Belarusian exports of goods and services, attract foreign investment and advanced knowledge to Belarus. Cooperation with intergovernmental commissions provides an opportunity to position exporters in the foreign market as a reliable and attractive partner. How do these structures operate in today's conditions? We will discuss this in this paper.
