This True Amazing Book Tells It As It Is It starts out with a sneak preview and then covers the early years of growing up, with his first real adventure on a fishing trip with a buddy from high school. These two boys both enjoyed the same things in life, primarily building electronic projects that included radios, PA systems, Tesla coils, and Oudin coils. We will also delve into photography, building telescopes, and fishing. This was not the ordinary type of fishing trip; they ended up fishing for history. By the way, both boys were self-taught in electronics, and didn't have any outside help, and it definitely wasn't covered in school. They got into trouble more than once with their projects, but boys will be boys. Dick's friend went off to college and Dick studied up on industrial electricity and became an electrician at the Timken Company. Dick ended up in the Army and his buddy a naval aviator. Dick found some excitement while in service, and his buddy was lost at sea after just getting married. Dick went to college on the GI Bill of Rights. These years added some excitement to life for Dick. Boating added thousands of miles of adventure over a lifetime. Not the normal kind, The Sonologue Story could have made a book in itself, but I never got around to doing that, but you will find some interesting things from that period in this book. The industrial section has several miracles in it without any explanation. The world of audio/visual had some different things happen and interesting national cover-ups, but Dick was involved in several others before this time, that get told about. Middle Eastern adventures were what you might say behind enemy lines, covered three years. There is a lot more and a ton of food for thought. Including a vacation to the Lake Superior region for the northern lights and fall colors. Dick included his thoughts for a good long life, and he proves that miracles still happen in our time on earth. You can't dispute them when you have all the facts.
