Born in Perth, Western Australia, I have called Ballarat, Victoria, home since 1991. My deep passion for Australian history has fueled my writing journey, leading me to explore our past's rich and complex narratives. My debut novel, Abandoned Warriors Riding High, began my literary career. Following this, I authored the Golden Bloodline series, which delves into the turbulent lives of the Riley family-an Australian criminal clan whose story begins in the early days of the Port Phillip Settlement in Melbourne. The series spans significant historical events, including the Ballarat Gold Rush and the Eureka Stockade Rebellion, ultimately culminating in the redemption of the family name in the second book. This redemption is brought about through the heroic actions of a grandson who rises to prominence as a Captain in the British Raj in India during the 1890s. https://books2read.com/Rick-moorman-Author
