Wendell White grew up with the best of two worlds: the warm and nurturing island of Montserrat in the Caribbean and the wide-open possibilities of New York City. His childhood experiences, along with the real-life bond between his niece Abigayle and his son Andrew, inspired him to create the Abby and Andy Series - which takes readers back to the 1980s. He hopes Abby and Andy's adventures spark laughter, interest in travel and encourage families to share their own stories.
