Prof. ¿Dr. Marco Hien war nach einem Postdoc-Jahr an der University of Chicago zunächst an der Universität Regensburg tätig. Seit 2010 ist er Professor für Algebra und Zahlentheorie an der Universität Augsburg mit den Forschungsgebieten algebraische Geometrie und algebraische Analysis. 2020 erhielt er den "Preis für gute Lehre" des Wissenschaftsministeriums Bayern.
