This book presents selected papers from the 19th International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing, in conjunction with the 11th International Conference on Orange Technology, Applications, and Tools, held on December 5-7, 2023, in Daegu, South Korea. It is divided into two volumes and discusses latest research outcomes in the field of information technology (IT) including but not limited to information hiding, multimedia signal processing, big data, data mining, bioinformatics, database, industrial and internet of things, and their applications.

Prof. Shih-Pang Tseng received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He has been Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Tajen University, Pingtung, Taiwan. Now, he is Professor in the School of Software and Big Data, Changzhou College of Information Technology, Changzhou, China, and the School of Information Science and Technology, Sanda University, Shanghai, China. He also works as the Expert Advisor of Robotex Committee, China. He has published 12 SCI papers, 48 EI papers, and one academic book. And he has 6 patents. He has won the gold prize in the Seoul International Invention Fair and the bronze medals in the International Invention Fair in the Middle East. Prof. Anand Paul is with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyungpook National University, South Korea, as Full Professor. He got his Ph.D. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 2010. His research interests include big data analytics/IoT, AI/machine learning. He has done extensive work on big data/IoT-based smart cities and had done data analytics using machine learning techniques. He is Delegate representing South Korea for MPEG and M2M focus group. He is IEEE Senior Member since 2015. He is serving as Editor in Chief of International Journal of Smart Vehicles and Smart Transportation (IGI Global). He has also guest edited various international journals. He is Track Chair for smart human-computer interaction in ACM SAC 2014-2019 and General Chair for the 8th International Conference on Orange Technology (ICOT 2020). Prof. Jeng-Shyang Pan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, in 1986, the M.S. degree in communication engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, the UK, in 1996. He is currently Professor with the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. His current research interests include soft computing, information security, and signal processing. He joined the Editorial Board of LNCS Transactions on Data Hiding and Multimedia Security, the Journal of Computers, and the Chinese Journal of Electronics. Dr. Sci. Margarita N. Favorskaya is Professor and Head of Department of Informatics and Computer Techniques at Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology, Russian Federation. Professor Favorskaya is Member of KES organization since 2010 and IPC Member and Chair of invited sessions of over 30 international conferences. She serves as Reviewer for several international journals, Associate Editor for the Intelligent Decision Technologies Journal, International Journal of Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems, and International Journal of Reasoning-based Intelligent Systems, Honorary Editor for the International Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Soft Data Paradigms, and Reviewer, Guest Editor, and Book Editor (Springer). She is Author or Co-author of 260 publications and 20 educational manuals in computer science. She co-authored/co-edited around 30 books/conference proceedings for Springer in the last 10 years. Professor Favorskaya supervised nine Ph.D. candidates and presently supervising three Ph.D. students.
