Rohini Prasad, PhD, is a Professor of Economics in Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), India. He also held the prestigious position of Vice-Chancellor, Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (formerly, Sarguja University) and Dean of Student Welfare at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University. He has more than 32 years of teaching and 26 years of research experience in the area of rural development, tribal development, and other relevant subjects of environmental economics. He has guided 30 doctorate students and 30 MPhil students. Professor Prasad has published more than 100 scientific research papers and articles in various reputed national and international journals and eight books of national and international repute. He has presented scientific papers at various national and international seminars, symposiums, and workshops and has visited several countries across the globe. He has been awarded with the Bharat Vikash Award, a gold medal, and various other prestigious award of national and international importance. He also received a Research Award as Principal Investigator from the University Grant Commissions (UGC), New Delhi, India and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, India. Manoj Kumar Jhariya, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Farm Forestry at Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (formerly, Sarguja University), Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, India, and is the author or co-author of more than 68 research papers in peerreviewed journals, eight books, 30 book chapters, and several extension articles. He is a board member of several journals. He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association, Applied and Natural Science Foundation, Society for Advancement of Human and Nature, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Association of India, and ISDS Society and International Journal of Development and Sustainability. He has supervised 48 MSc (Farm Forestry) students and is dynamically involved in teaching (postgraduate) and research. He is an active scientist in the area of forestry. Dr. Jhariya acquired a Bsc (Agriculture), MSc (Forestry) and PhD (Forestry) degrees from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. He was awarded Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Award in 2013 from the Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology. He was awarded a UGC-RGNF Fellowship, New Delhi, India. Arnab Banerjee, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (Formerly, Sarguja University), Chhattisgarh, India. He has earned his MSc and PhD (Environmental Science) degrees from Burdwan University and MPhil in Environmental Science from Kalyani University, West Bengal, India. He has published 70 research papers in reputed national and international journals as well as eight books and 25 book chapters. He is a life member of the Academy of Environmental Biology. He has supervised 22 PG students and is dynamically involved in teaching(postgraduate) and research and is an active scientist in the area of environmental science. He has been awarded a Young Scientist Award for best oral presentation at an international conference held at University of Burdwan.
