This is science fiction for mystery buffs who enjoy a little action mixed in with their detective work. Kat & Jerry are clever treasure hunters who roam the galaxy with their cat, Batman. And they love to sink their teeth into thorny problems -- especially when there's a juicy payoff waiting. Join this wisecracking duo in a nail-biting mystery on an asteroid ring at the edge of the galaxy: It's a race to the finish, as Kat & Jerry scramble to beat the bad guys to a priceless artifact hidden in an asteroid mining settlement. And once they figure out where the prize is hidden, they'll need to break into an impenetrable vault to get their hands on it. That is, if they're still alive by then. This is the third published adventure featuring Kat & Jerry, and can be enjoyed all on its own, even if you've never encountered them before.
Autorenporträt
J. M. Holmes was born and raised in Canada and educated in the Classics by Jesuits and nuns. Renaissance polymath, amateur beekeeper, film historian, long-distance bicyclist, author, computer whisperer, and the one person who knows how to fix all the world's problems, Holmes delights in confounding expectations and ascribes to multiple, often contradictory life philosophies. Especially proud of daughter Sarah and son Alex, Holmes considers everything else in an admittedly long and highly rewarding life as mere dross, with the notable exception of the six cats in the household. Holmes enthusiastically agrees with the philosophy that time spent with cats is never wasted.
