With a lifetime teaching credential and over 40 years of experience in education, Barbara has inspired countless young minds. Although retired from the school district, her passion for nurturing creativity in children continues to thrive.After over 60 years with New Hope Baptist Church, she now brings stories to life during story time at her local Victory Baptist Church, where she also teaches arts and crafts to children of all ages. Her dedication to community service is evident through her involvement in various art-related projects.As a grandmother, Barbara cherishes museum trips with her three grandchildren, two of whom are coauthors of her earlier books. Now, as a great-grandmother, she finds immense joy in sharing stories and encouraging imaginative playtime with her three great-grandchildren, as well as in creating new adventures with her three grandchildren.Barbara's lifelong commitment to education and her love for storytelling shine through in every book she writes, making her a treasured figure in the lives of many young readers.
