Frau Theresa Nwafornso wurde 1963 im Bundesstaat Anambra in Nigeria geboren. Sie erwarb 2005 einen Abschluss in Bildungsmanagement (B.ED). Derzeit arbeitet sie als Bibliothekarin an der Föderale Universität für Landwirtschaft, Makurdi, Nigeria. Sie ist glücklich verheiratet und hat vier Kinder.
