My own Safari to the United States of America sets a suitable example-portraying the newness, dilemma, mystery and subsequent orientation to the American culture. It never came easy because it was as good as relieving my life once again, without the birth process-and the essential stages of childhood, and physical, mental development. In this humorous American Safari, I stand at the inter-section of African values and heritage thus contrasting the African way of life with the American culture. It is a sincere, painful experience-considering the initial dilemma in which African immigrants find themselves in upon arrival in America; the newness of the situation, a uniquely shocking culture, and the subsequent orientation to Americanization.

Julius was born to a polygamous family of fourteen children. Born, educated and partially raised in Kenya, he is the second of the last born of eight children-on his mother's side-comprising of five girls: Prof. Mary, Dr. Florence, Dr. Susan, Eileen and Josephine; and two boys: Oliver and Donysius. They are all sons and daughters of Peter Omosa Simba and Rufina Kerubo Omosa. After searching for his soul, he has settled at this point where it is manifested, as an author. He was born on August 21, 1972, in Kisii, Kenya. His first book is entitled "CHILDHOOD REMINISCENCES - A Retrospective St. Mary's Mosocho" In his obsessions of expressing himself in many ways, he has accomplished his second book: "AFRICAN AMERICANIZED" -A book outlining the actual paths treaded by African immigrants, in the United States of America, experiences acquired and their orientation to the Americanization process; gradually and painfully capitulating their own heritage into Westernization; portraying dilemmas and mysteries involved.
