This book is based on a dissertation in partial fulfillment of MBA in oil and gas management from Coventry University in UK. The author whiles studying in the UK realized that there were many Africans in his class, so in order to draw a valid conclusion as to why they have decided to study in the UK instead of their home countries; researched into their motivation to study in the UK. After the study it was revealed that many of the students studying in the UK read oil and gas management whiles their other colleagues from other parts of the world study other courses. The study concluded that their choice of study was influenced by recent oil discoveries in many African countries. The recommendations and conclusion in the dissertation will help all potential students when making education decision to study in the UK. It will also help international student recruiters to properly address concerns of international students.
