Po uzyskaniu tytu¿ów CAES i magistra na Uniwersytecie Cheikh Anta Diop w Dakarze, Ibrahima Seydi BA napisä jedn¿ prac¿ i uzyskä doktorat z literatury afrykäskiej z wyró¿nieniem pierwszej klasy. Obecnie jest profesorem literatury wspó¿czesnej, wyk¿adowc¿ na UCAD i trenerem w kilku instytutach szkoleniowych.
