Laveti Mohini Devi a obtenu sa licence en agriculture à l'université agricole Acharya N.G. Ranga, à Bapatla, et sa maîtrise en vulgarisation agricole à l'université agricole de Junagadh. Elle a publié quatre articles de recherche et quatre résumés. Elle a reçu le prix du meilleur étudiant de troisième cycle pour avoir obtenu la meilleure moyenne générale dans le département de vulgarisation agricole au cours de son M.Sc.
