Der Autor ist aktiv in der Forschung im Bereich der Arzneimittelentdeckung und -entwicklung tätig. Er hat mehr als 25 Forschungsarbeiten in renommierten internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Er hat mehrere M. Pharm.-Studenten bei ihren Dissertationen betreut. Er wurde mit dem Award für herausragende Gutachter des European Journal of Medizinalchemie ausgezeichnet.
