This publication takes up some of our published works with a view to promoting a contribution to the History and Memory of a locality, known for its rich socio-societal, socio-cultural and socio-cult past, on the one hand and the involvement of activists from the Association of Muslim Ulemas of Algeria (AOMA) on the other hand. Indeed, it is a study relating to the Islamist influence of the local population of Ain El Hûts, then known and renowned for the origin of the first inhabitants, shorfa (nobles) and mrabetine (descendants of local marabouts). In Ain El Hûts, maraboutism and Sufism are important. Moreover, on the basis of this information, we have expressed a wish to publish this contribution and to provide an answer to questions that concern us. For this, with a specific objective, we are trying to promote the establishment of the Association of Muslim Ulemas of Algeria through the creation of the Shû'bèts Djemiat El 'Ulama El Mûslimin bi 'Ain El Hûts, in the locality thatwe have been studying for several decades.
