Marissa is a Canadian author of children's books, adult fiction, and short stories. She enjoys exploring old cemeteries, learning Russian, receiving mail, and watching birds and small woodland creatures in her backyard. She is less of a fan of raisins and horror movies. Marissa lives with her husband, three cats, dog, and gecko in southern Ontario. Albert in the Alley is her first children's book.
