A few years ago I successfully completed the London Montessori Teacher's Training Course. I taught Preschoolers very briefly for about 3 years. After changing careers to Accountancy, I still worked in the educational field with 3 different School Principals and they all shared the same concerns that students were not up to their grade level in reading. This information is what inspired me to self publish my books because I wanted to help children master the basics of learning to read, ie. the sound of letters of the alphabet. Alfie the Alphabet Ant was born and because I love this character so much, I couldn't stop there. I also included other books to complement the basics in leaning. It is a very exciting journey from idea to print. My goal is for every preschool aged child to have a copy of my Alfie Blue Ant Children's Book series and each Preschool and Library to have it available for Preschoolers.
