Bruce S. Welch is a Kent State University graduate with a BA in Mathematics.He worked as a pension actuary.As a young man, he had an interest in and studied the Civil War.He also took several road-trips throughout the US. These road trips took him to the homes of US Presidents (Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Theodore Roosevelt, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt) and other prominent Americans (Thomas Edison, George Eastman, and Henry Ford).
