C. M. Kosemen is an artist, author, and independent researcher born in Ankara, Turkey in 1984. He studied at Cornell University in New York, Sabancı University in Istanbul and holds a master's degree from Goldsmiths College, London. Kosemen's artistic output ranges from scientifically accurate portrayals of prehistoric and imaginary life forms, to figurative surreal paintings that draw inspiration from the land, history, and the life forms of the Mediterranean. Kosemen's surreal art has exhibited in Catania, Vienna, Ulcinj, Istanbul, Ankara, Eskişehir, London and Tel Aviv. Kosemen is based in Turkey.
