Maria Melchor is the personal finance expert and content creator behind FirstGenLiving, LLC, which provides personal finance education tailored to the experience of first-generation immigrants, students, and professionals in the United States through coaching and workshops for private clients and free social media content. Melchor was born in Mexico and immigrated to America as a child. She previously worked in legal aid advocating for the welfare of the most disadvantaged New Yorkers and became a proud member of 1199SEIU, one of the largest unions in America
