J. Matthew Neal is an academic endocrinologist in Muncie, Indiana, and the author of numerous medical texts. He has published many novels in the science fiction/techno-thriller genre, including Specific Gravity, Ontario Lacus, Americium the Beautiful, Amalgam-Man, and the epic six-book Stella Scura: Dark Star Rising superhero series.
