Arthur Slade was raised on a ranch in the Cypress Hills of Saskatchewan, Canada. He is the author of thirty one novels including Amber Fang, The Hunchback Assignments, Dragon Assassin and Dust. His work has sold over half a million copies and won the Governor General's Award (Canada) and Le Grand Prix d'Imaginaire (France). He is also the author of several comic books and a graphic novel.
