He currently resides in California and is hard at work on his next novel. D. ANDREA WHITFIELD: Growing up in the foothills of Georgia, D. Andrea Whitfield, the “Penning Your Stories to Life” writer, was fascinated with the art of storytelling, due largely in part to her grandparents whose origins were steeped richly in the Civil Rights movement. This interest led to early exposure to reading memoirs and true-to-life novels. After graduation, Ms. Whitfield held positions as an executive administrative assistant and as a newspaper journalist which stoked her fire with the allure of unorthodox stories. Later, Ms. Whitfield developed a passion for penning undiscovered authentic stories that shaped the fabric of our everyday lives.
