Shiva Trilogy, is a famous trinity written by Amish Tripathi. Shiva Trilogy consists of three books: The Immortals of Meluha (2010), The Secret of the Nagas (2011) and The Oath of Vayuputras (2013). These three books were published together in 2010. Shiva Trilogy provides an understanding of the rich mythological past of ancient India in addition to its many historical aspects. In this trinity, Tripathi presented Shiva as an ordinary human. Not a god. Shiva becomes a god by his karma. Tripathi has also tried to merge ancient Indian mythology with recent history and modern reality. It is the story of a man whom legends turn into a god. While Tripathi's work is primarily fictional, it relies heavily on historical and archaeological evidence. A detailed comparison between the fictional world of the trilogy and current historical and archaeological understanding of the period could provide interesting insights about how historical narratives can reflect and shape our understanding ofthe past.
