About the Author Richard E. Gower is a writer living in Ottawa, Canada. He followed a varied and winding career path before turning to write crime fiction. In previous lives, he was an Air Force officer, an advertising copywriter, a commercial pilot, a magazine writer, editor and publisher, a technical writer, a government speechwriter and an executive for a Fortune 500 company. He has had short stories published on Reedsy as well as in Pierian Spring Magazine, Western People Magazine and Manchester Monthly Magazine, and aired on ZFB Radio in Bermuda. He is currently at work on the second book in the Inspector Matt Armitage mystery/crime series.
