Obadofin Samuel Bamidele est originaire d'Ayetoro Gbedde, dans la zone de gouvernement local d'Ijumu de l'État de Kogi, au Nigeria. Il est titulaire du Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E) en beaux-arts et arts appliqués, délivré par le Federal College of Education d'Okene, dans l'État de Kogi. Il est titulaire d'une licence et d'une maîtrise en histoire de l'art de la première école d'art de l'université Ahmadu Bello.
