Hector Scerri, born Malta, 1965, ordained priest, 1993, is Professor of Dogmatic Theology, University of Malta, where he has been teaching since 1998. Deputy Dean, Faculty of Theology; President, Diocesan Ecumenical Commission, Malta; and Chairperson, Christians Together in Malta. Consultor to the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity, Vatican.
