Danjuma Lawal è originario dello Stato di Kano, in Nigeria, ed è nato il 3 dicembre 1978. Ha conseguito una laurea in biologia applicata e un master in microbiologia presso l'Università Bayero di Kano. Danjuma Lawal è attualmente docente presso il Dipartimento di Microbiologia e Biotecnologia dell'Università Federale di Duste, Stato di Jigawa, Nigeria.
