ABSTRACTBackground: The international comparison of occupational health and safety management highlights the importance of having a unified international governing body. It is made clear that the accommodating all stakeholders from the multi-national enterprise perspective is assured by the international agreement on occupational health and safety. All employees of any sector, it be self-employed or permanently employed, business size or association of employers or trade union are also taken to consideration. It is the obligation of the governments thereof, as employers or trade unions to formulate and enforce the occupational health and safety policy prepared through the tripartite collaboration. The International Labour Organization to points out that every country is required to have a national policy on occupational health and safety together. These measures should be at the corporate and national level to advance and protect the welfare of employees. Aim: The study investigates the importance of an International Occupational Health and Safety Management Governing Body tasked with overseeing and enhancing occupational health and safety for all disciplines.
