In 2024, he joined the board of ISAAC, the International Society for Analysis, its Applications, and Computation, becoming the youngest mathematician ever elected to the board of directors in ISAAC s history. Since 2022, he has held the position of Scientific Director of ICMAM Latin America. He has been a reviewer for Colombia s Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology since 2020. With around 100 publications, including several books, in Harmonic Analysis and PDEs, his contributions are extensive. He has received the 2025 President's Award of the International Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC). Recently, he has joined the Commission on Applied and Industrial Mathematics (CMAI) of the Colombian Mathematical Society for the period 2025-2027. Together with Brian Grajales and Karina Navarro Gonzalez (Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel) he is part of the Executive Committee of ICMAM Latin America.

Brian Grajales is a Colombian mathematician and Professor of Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual de Maringá in Brazil. His research interests span Differential Geometry and Lie Theory, with a particular emphasis on Riemannian Geometry on homogeneous spaces. As an active member of several research groups, including those at the State University of Campinas, the University of Pamplona, and the ICMAM Latin America, Brian Grajales has made significant contributions to the field. His work has been published in numerous high-impact journals, and he has been a frequent participant in international conferences and seminars, where he has shared his insights with the broader mathematical
