Kasidi Simon est diplômé en géologie de l'université de Maiduguri, au Nigeria. Il est titulaire d'une maîtrise et d'un doctorat en géophysique appliquée de l'université technologique Modibbo Adama de Yola, au Nigeria. Il est actuellement chargé de cours à l'université d'État de l'Adamawa, à Mubi (Nigeria), dans le département de géologie. L'auteur a publié plusieurs ouvrages dans le domaine de la géophysique.
