The communication channel is subject to various interference like fading, bursts which threaten reliable reception of data. The use of an appropriate algorithms helps to minimize the adverse effects . The design of the cellular communication and a best cost path connecting the area substations can be well-tuned by using modern optimization techniques. In this book, two optimization techniques are considered, which are Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Simulated Annealing (SA) techniques. Their performance is analysed by implementing optimization to real time engineering problem, such as Best Cost path, Carrier to Interference (C/I) ratio.

Dr. Leela Kumari Balivada erwarb einen B.Tech-Abschluss in E.C.E. an der JNTUH, einen M.Tech-Abschluss in R&M an der A.U. und einen Ph.D-Abschluss in Kommunikationswissenschaften an der JNTUK. Sie ist Assistenzprofessorin am Fachbereich E.C.E. der UCEK, JNTUK, Kakinada. Ihre Forschungsinteressen umfassen Kommunikation, Signalverarbeitung und nichtlineare Zustandsraumschätzung.
