This publication was made possible through the support of Nantong Institute of Technology. Brushless DC motor drivers are core components in modern industrial automation and intelligent equipment. Their performance directly determines the response speed, positioning accuracy, and operational lifespan of the entire actuator system. However, in actual engineering applications, designers often face the challenges of "difficult parameter selection, prone to wiring errors, and time-consuming debugging": missing motor nameplates lead to inaccurate estimation of rated current, reversed Hall sensor wiring causes commutation failure, improper PID tuning results in speed oscillation, and electromagnetic interference on-site causes communication interruption. These issues not only prolong project timelines but also pose risks of equipment damage. To address these challenges, we have written the book "Application and Testing Analysis of General-Purpose Brushless DC Motor Drivers," which systematically outlines the technical key points, debugging methods, and typical case studies of brushless DC motor drivers.
