The ancestors of Gabe and Nash Fisher start with humble beginnings, pioneers coming west for land and settling in Iowa just after Iowa became a state. Originally from the east coast, Plymouth, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York their family has a history of fighting in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and the Vietnam War. Military service is something their ancestors were never afraid of. Many of the Plymouth ancestors came over on the Anne and the James, and at least one married one of the Mayflower passengers. They came from England, Scotland, Ireland and later from Hungary and Czechoslovakia. From those countries, ancestors can be traced back as far as 1120 BC, to King Priam of Troy. Others in Switzerland were Swiss Mercenaries, Templars, and the aristocracy.
